Kiena Dawes was a young mother from Lancashire who tragically took her own life almost four years ago in July 2022 after suffering prolonged domestic abuse. We call on the UK Government to introduce #KienasLaw to create a specific criminal offence of domestic abuse-related suicide and include coercive and controlling behaviour within the
"dangerous offender" framework, allowing courts to impose extended sentences.
