AAFDA (Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse) is delighted to be working with the Scottish Government, and delivery partners SafeLives and Scottish Women’s Aid, to deliver a training package for professionals involved in Scotland’s Domestic Homicide and Suicide Reviews (DHSRs).
This programme will form a key part of the implementation of Scotland’s new DHSR model, due to come into effect on 1st April.
Together with our partners, and informed by victims, survivors and families affected by fatal domestic abuse, we will design and deliver a suite of training and resources for professionals involved in the new statutory process, as well as information resources for the wider public.
We are excited to begin this five-year collaborative project.
