AAFDA are delighted to have been granted funding from the Home Office to embed awareness of advocacy.
Over the next six months AAFDA will deliver 10 free to attend, tailored Roadshow events which focus on the importance of advocacy and provide training on how to engage and maintain engagement with families in relation to Domestic Homicide Reviews. These events are primarily aimed at Domestic Homicide Review Chairs, DHR Panel members, Community Safety Partnership teams, Family Liaison Officers and others working in this area.

Tuesday 24th September – CARDIFF – Less than 5 spaces remaining. Confirmed speakers include DHR Chair and Criminologist Dr Jane Monckton-Smith and AAFDA advocate Sue Haile, alongside AAFDA Operations Manager Sarah Dangar and a family bereaved by fatal domestic abuse.
